Seminar "Le Grand Bal: Traverses" in dialogue with Anne Favier at the invitation of Céline Cadaureille and Carole Nosella, Jean Monnet University, St Etienne: How can drawing represent and determine territories, depict the experience of their crossings or even penetrate passages ? Katrin Gattinger's graphic practice is essentially linked to another: her drawing – made with steel tubes bent in space, produced with a seismographic drawing machine or developed in collaboration with other species – can be thought of as "binding" or "anchor" between territories, environments and practices. Intermediate, transdisciplinary and sometimes interactive, the artistic research of Katrin Gatttinger - she is interested in tricks - tracks alternatives, "Plan B" as so many ways to find and build other models, even fictitious and modest.
